What kind of photo passes?
One that faces forward, shows the face clearly and has only one person in it. The AI changes the background, clothes and hair to a suit and a white background, so a selfie in everyday clothes is fine.
What if it fails the check?
The screen shows the reason (blur, side view, backlight and so on) and how to retake it. Facing a bright window and using the front camera straight on passes in most cases.
Is it made right away once it passes?
The photo you chose is carried over to the ID photo page, and a preview appears in about 1–2 minutes. You pay 2,900 KRW and receive the high-resolution original only if you like it.
Can I use it for a passport or a national ID card?
We recommend it for résumés, staff IDs and profiles. For submissions to public offices with strict photo rules, such as passports, it may be rejected.
Is the photo stored?
The photo used for the check is deleted from the server right after the verdict. Only photos carried over to creation are kept for 30 days and then deleted automatically.
